Raleigh Venom December 2019 Workout Challenge

Hello Teammates,

I am excited to get the December workout challenge underway! If you would like to participate please message me your email address so I can invite you to be an author.

Rules:

  1. One point will be awarded for each day you post a workout on the workout blog. Practice does not count for this; see below.
    • Any workout is legit as long as it is at least 30 minutes. 
    • Maximum of one point awarded per person per day. 
    • You should also post some sort of evidence - photo, results, weights, fails, awkward encounters, etc. 
    • Make sure your name is associated with your post somehow so I can identify you.
  2. An extra point will be awarded to each player who attends practice. I will post the attendance list after each practice to keep track of this separately from the external workouts in (1).
  3. I will periodically post opportunities for bonus points on the blog. These may be extra workout challenges or short film review assignments. I will post exact instructions/deadlines for each of these extra opportunities. You should post your results/comments/analysis on the blog. 
  4. The winner(s) will get a special prize from me! The challenge will run from Dec 1 - Dec 31, with possible renewal in January, I hope.

Let's get super fit so we can win both our Spring matrix matches and advance to conference tournament, playoffs, and beyond!

  1. On December 1, I ran on the treadmill and did interval training on the bike for 35 mins. I wish it was fancier...
